Love it. A friend of mine had one when we brought the family to the drive it and we loved it. Bought it from costco for $120- and I spent another $50 on upgrading the speakers. Sub I used was a Planet Audio AC8D and 3.5" speaker was a Planet Audio TQ322. The 3.5" required a tiny amount of drill work and file work to fit in the enclosure. Sub fit perfect. wires soldered on easily. Battery is a standard UPS battery. Model is an RT1270 and is rated at 7 amp hours. One thing with UPS batteries is they should be exercised a little. Don't leave the unit plugged in at all times. Maybe once a month use the unit hard until the battery dies and then fully charge it. It 'exercises' the battery and ensures long run times and long life. Batteries are usually good for around 4-5 years. All in all, outstanding product, great for the beach, hanging in the driveway, softball games, taking the kids to the park, camping trips, etc. Easy to work on and easy to upgrade. Outstanding platform and great price.
Very good sound, easily enough volume for for poolside parties. Battery seems to lsat forever. The blue tooth worrk excelent, I was able to leave my tablet in the house and play music outside with the speaker 40 to 50 feet away. I would highly recommend this Block Rocker for tailgating, beach parties, or where ever you need a good loud source for music.
