So Im not an audiophile or anything like that, I just wanted a speaker for my room when I listen to music or watch movies on my tablet. I saw this at a Best Buy and was amazed at how the sound quality of this speaker blew all of the other,higher priced speakers in its category out of the water in terms of sound quality.

Here are some of the things I like most about it:

1.) Sound Quality- Again I am in way, shape, or form a audiophile, but to the ears of an average music listener the sound on this thing is awesome. Music sounds crisp, clear, and rich. I like a lot of bass and this thing delivers with special speakers located on the back to give you that deep sound.Music and movies sound great through this thing.

2.) Loud- This speaker is surprisingly loud for it's size. Under normal circumstances 50% volume is plenty loud enough to fill a room, and full volume really gets the place pumping. Obviously its not a loud as a BIG sound system, but I feel the volume to size ration is more than enough.

3.) Bluetooth & NFC- I wanted a Bluetooth speaker just so that I wont have to deal with another cord since I already have a billion cords tangled up around my house. Bluetooth works great on this speaker and is very easy to set up, especially if you have and Android device with NFC capabilities. All you do is tap your phone to the top and it will pair and connect automatically for you. Even without an Android (i.e. iPhone) it proves easy to set up. The range is pretty standard, about 20-30 feet before it stops playing from my phone. It also has an auxiliary input for devices that might not have Bluetooth such as an older laptop or gaming system. It also has a USB port to charge devices.

4.) Size/Appearance/Portability- This speaker is small for the sound it produces. It is easily portable around the house, outside, wherever. The batter lasts around 7-71/2 hours on a charge which is not bad. It does not take up a lot of space on your desk or wherever you place it making it very convenient to move around the house or take outside by the pool (remember its not waterproof though). It looks pretty sleek, and it does not try to sell itself with off the wall colors or anything like that. The top is a glossy finish, which does show fingerprints quite a bit from the touch sensitive buttons. Not a big deal but a possible turn off for the OCD.

Things I Don't Like:

1.) Charging Cable- I wish everything simple used a micro usb cable for charging just to make all my devices universal, but obviously thats not the case. This speaker uses a 12.5 V DC charger so while it is not a micro usb, it's not a proprietary cord that I could not get elsewhere if need be.

2.) Case Sold Separate and Is Expensive- I plan on taketing this speaker around with me a lot, so the case is a necessity. For the price it would have been nice if the carrying case was included with it as this is a nice device that I want to keep in excellent condition.

Over All: For someone looking for a cheap, compact sound system with great sound quality and volume, I would highly recommend this speaker as a great buy for the price. Someone who is a big audiophile or requires a huge surround system might not be as satisfied with this device as I have. Overall the quality to price ration makes this a great buy.
