At BestBuy I listened to both and was extremely disappointed. My library is almost all classical music and neither system had even a decent performance. Too bass heavy, too soft for chamber music, muffled overall effect. Then I tried this Sony x5 and was blown away. I bought it without hesitation and am delighted with it. I can hear it from every room of my apartment and the instruments sound real. I am a professional pianist and soprano and have high standards for sound quality. I definitely recommend this speaker!
